Class Descriptions

BEGIN- A "first steps" gentle flow yoga class. Basic, balanced, and instructional. Traditional postures and breathing techniques included. Modifications, props, and assistance will be provided as needed. Body alignment and awareness will be emphasized. 60 minutes

LOW AND SLOW- A gentle restorative floor class that focuses on developing an awareness of the connective tissues and muscles of the pelvic floor, hips, and lower back. Breathing techniques, along with slow, sustained, stretching movements will be emphasized. 60 minutes

GRAVITY WITH GRACE: The focus of this class is on relaxation. Props are included with all poses to assist in stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system. Gentle hands on assist and massage for maximum relaxation of the mind, body, and heart will be provided. Designed to honor self, this class will include basic meditation, mindfulness, and deep breathing techniques as major components. 90 minutes
